thankyou very much.
started making my new rear arches, they're grp 6 ones, i've widened them by 60mm. they look better than they do in the pics, they dont look as heavy as that.

i got my mini outside the other night, i'm not liking how the arches look at the moment, they look ok from some angles but not so good from others:(
ive changed them now, think they look alot better, will get some pic up but this is how they looked before.

also the ride hight needs sorting, its all over the place.

The arches look OK from low down, but not so good from other angles.

There's some top fabricationm going on here. It's motivated me to try harder *happy*

ive reworked my arches, started to mock up the front too.

i gave it a wash too, and took it for a blast round the block, exhaust sounds good with no rattles, suspention feel's nice and stiff, and the driving position feels a lot better too.

Are you going to lay fibreglass or CARBON FIBRE over the plastic arches you have made yeah? *wink*
I envy your car dude, the wider the better!

Is that loom repositioned from the pillar/roof or are late cars like that?

Keep it uP.

yeah i'm going to fibreglass them up, but i'm off on a mini run on sunday so i think i'm going to just mock them up and go on the run, then if they catch anywere i can sort it before i finish them.

i think that the later cars i like that with the loom, probably because theres more wires with the fuel pump and stuff.

i mot'd it this week*happy* but i had to make a new lower bracket for the front coilover because the alloy collar for the spring was catching the mounting bolt.

ive started making the front arches, i've had to weld so more metal back onto the wing, because they sit abit lower than the old ones, ive welded the side repeater up too.

How have you done your internal gear linkage? Is it jointed at the other side? Looking good by the way
