Spent a bit of time finishing porting the adaptor, making a gasket, and fitting to the engine.

Also got hold of some k-nuts and fitted the itb's.

Hoping I don't have to do this bit again any time soon. Access for doing up the fixings is very tight, took ages!
More gaskets to make, then plenum is going on.

Also stripped down the front end bodywork, as it transpires that one of the rad mounts has snapped!

Finally finished a couple of my side projects, and got out in the garage. It's murder working in an asbestos garage in this weather though, it's like an oven!
I've had remove then refit the gearbox, clutch and flywheel as it turns out the cps boss wasn't fitted to the block when I built it all up. All done now, everything just needs tightening up before trying to fire it up for the first time.

Also made new rad mounts, as the old ones have snapped.
Modded some NAS bolts to mount my front brake calipers
Made an adjustable stay for the alternator.

Brake system to plumb in next. Trying to get as much done as I can while I'm off for the next 10 days.

Stuart (turbocox) came over today, as I got scared plugging the ecu in!!

Long story short (after a huge fuel leak) car wont start.

We've messed with fuel pressure, checked for spark, changed plug gap, added 'easy start'. It won't fire. The more I think about it, I'm not sure I've set the Cambelt timing correctly.
Either that, or the super clever itb's don't work!!!???!!?
Hopefully video to follow after I've digested the Haynes manual and reset the timing.

Turns out the issue was with the injectors

750cc/min 12 ohm injectors are currently en route from Australia. Should solve the issue.

A couple of other developments that I will add shortly.

Had to modify this bulkhead fitting to allow me to connect the clutch mastercylinder to the ford hose.

Looks like it will work better than the copper line I had bodged together before.

Also, injectors arrived today from Australia.

750cc/min. Should be enough for now.

I agree Brett, did ALOT of research and it a no brainer to buy from abroad.

Added the bracket to the pedal today. At 63grams, with some glue and a weld to add.

Possible, yes.

Do I want it on my conscience if a brake pedal breaks? No

Sorry mate, but I see how much development goes into the ones at work. It's just not worth the effort vs. the risk in my opinion.
