Near Paris - France

They're later ones so I don't know what year is your car but those are A+ 80 ish and on.
But fear not, they're definitely OK for a standart motor !

Well nearly 3 years since my last update...should be finished by now?!!....its not, ha, unfortunately i had a good 2 years of not touching it, pretty much lost all drive to do anything, thankfully due to reading through builds on here, like Simons MK1 and tomkidds hillclimber, i managed to find some inspiration again.

So i had a good week up there earlier this month due to having not alot of work on, spent a good day trying to figure out what i had done, and what i need to do, and eventually got cracking.

As it stands, and what has happened since my last update, the engine is back in with new clutch and radiator, new loom, as my old one was very worn out and split in places, some interior pieces are in, works dash and a seat, and as of today, headlining!
Had it sat there for quite a while in its packaging hoping it would magically fit itself...it didn't, so today got cracking and got it fitted...what a B*****D job!! especially without a second set of hands! you're welcome Matt! haha.

Also got the indicator stalk sorted, didn't want to spend 60 odd quid on a replacement so managed to track down a dirty cheap second hand one and pulled them apart and made one good one, that works as it should!

Had a loads of bits arrive today and some more (hopefully) tomorrow, waiting on a new seat diaphragm and a set of door cards, then the interior will be pretty much done...which i'll admit now, is going to be very similar/same...as Tomkidds...i'll be waiting for the turd in my letterbox.

Anyway heres a few piccys, more to come in the next few days.

Cheers for reading and for the inspiration lads.

Still a little more 'fettling' to do.

Painted the old dirty seat frame

And a picture of a gimp (me) next to the car.

Turbophil had a butt plug made that seemed to be suitable. He may have finished with it now and have it kicking around spare

Good luck to living with an 850, you'll have to thrash the shit out of it just to keep up with modern traffic. 998's are bad enough!
