Ayup all.

For those without instagram heres why I've been absent for some time now. Had an amazing time building this and getting about in it including a trip to worthesee, Austria.

And latest money pit is here too

Enough of that anyway, onto the mini.

Scrapped my old shell as it was shot it. Sold a fair few bits that I plan on changing.

Basically I'm into a complete mock build for this one. Body's been dropped 1 1/4 inch over the pan. Rear boot floor is custom home brew, built around a carbon weezel floor. Custom tubs and turrets.
Front shock mounts have been raised by around 2 inch and il be fitting full steel clubman front.

Not alot to look at yet but hopefully il get some decent progress over the next few months, and hoping that starting my new build thread will help to motivat me.

Frig that looks the nuts. What have you done with the front to get it to run as low as that?

Any link to a thread on the RS6?
I take it that it isn't standard?

Welcome back! Carl told me you was still at it when he collected that roof off you! Are you sticking with the clubby front again?

Did you drop (raise should i say) the front bulkhead with the floor? I've done a similar thing to you, but wish i'd done the front bulkhead at the same time when it was all braced.. could have kept decent geometry on a obscenely low car then.

Aha.. this must be the one i was told to look at on here..

Heres mine.. i cant wait to have some holidays in it

Mini wise thats gonna look awesome sat like that!! Its going to have a few people puzzled.. i wanted to do the same as you with the floor of my clubman but its too mint to chop about.. but i shall do it to another shell i have got.. as well as a mild sprint to the shell too, i got the idea from the whole vw/hot rod scene.. is this where you got the idea from too? As asked above did u raise the whole bulkhead/toe board or chop it?

I didn't callum no. Il put a picture of how it was when I brought it soon.

The mini body drop was basically me sat staring at it with a cuppa and thought this could work so cut at it.

Not going to run a crossmember as such going to incorporate them with my seat braces
