I can imagine this being awesome for a track car but being a PITA in a road car. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

Would need to be, dare I say it, supercharged for that to make a nice tractable engine in a road car to gain torque back On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Never mind the power, what's the torque figures? No real use having 180hp if its at 13krpm, having to scream the engine everywhere. Stick a turbo on it and that's a whole different ball game! But power delivery like that should offer excellent traction. It's superb work no matter what though 9.85 @ 145mph

not too bad, probably similar to a std 1275 low down, and pretty flat to silly revs On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

I'm reasonably sure you can shift the powerband down quite a bit if you want to just by adding intake length and changing the exhaust manifold . Give up 20 bhp up top and not rev to 11 but 9000 still get >150 bhp and a quite a bit more down low. That sir, is not rust, it is the progressive mass reduction system

Saw this at Bingley today. Starting at £11,600 excluding vat without the engine. The fitting kits are additional as well. Expensive bit of kit! |

100 lbft at 7400rpm. Doesn't seem much point when you can easily do that with an a series for £2k On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Reality check Too right! I guess I'm just not the target market but a £14K kit + between £1-3K engine + whatever someone's going to charge to build it is nuts. |
