What are peoples opinions? In particular the A180 CDI Sport.

It would appear I have negotiated a company car. Only taken me 15 years...

Just ordered one for my next co car, the 220 AMG Sport.

The one thing I've found out later is that the sport and amg sport can't have towbars fitted, which is a shitter for me.

If someone else is paying for it, fine. As said, early ones were worse than a bad thing that is very bad

I'd rather have a Vauxhall cavalier.

Passat saloon/estate 1.6 tdi

so it's A3 or A Class. Been and had a sit in the merc this aft. Nice car. Unfortunately they didn't have a 180 auto I could drive today

the new a class is a nice wee motor, was starting to think Mercedes were doing a buy one get one free around here as they have became exceptionaly popular. the old a class was a hatefull piece of shite.

Yes, the barge stays and is passed onto the wife as the family car and her civic is getting sold.

What about the BMW 1 series, I think the coupe version is a nice looking car?

The only 1 series on the list is a 118D SE 5 door. Never been a fan of them and if they are anything like the 3 series, there is no where to put my feet and the indicators are fucking annoying. They don't latch when you put them on, so are like one touch that you can't cancel. I only drove one from Stratford back to Worksop and I couldn't get out soon enough. Also found the pedals were somewhere on the outside of the car due to the massive tunnel, which didn't go well with my increasingly fooked knees (how old am I?).

A1 isn't on the list and bearing in mind Colin's recent experience...

If maybe be tempted with the merc !!!

They do seam really nice the new ones. Gotta be the best on the list . S line is very predictable lol

Got it for 4 years I think.

I'm not hugely excited about any of them, but the merc seems the best of the bunch. Fancying a change from the 4 rings. The big test is if I can swing the auto or not

Rear room is not bad in the Merc, until I put the driver's seat in a position for me. That's the same in any car of that size though.

Only reason i say is that friends has a 1series and had to get rid because colin could get his seat right with the baby seat behind. As a full size passenger, you'd have needed to amputate legs to fit

Yep, the 1 series is pointlessly small inside as they have put the drive to the wrong wheels for the size of the car.

The Merc felt much bigger inside, certainly bigger than John's A3.

If your keeps the a6 tho Andy , masses of space won't be that important will it !!

I would got with the quickest/best drive. Esp if I had to pve with it for four years...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

as a company car it will be low class so you wont get hammered on your taxes. I had an M5 company car and hardly any take home wage thanks to it. Smaller is better (cars only and lap dancers of course)
