since I now have mastered postin pics I thought I'd show u all my mini.. now ive wanted a turbo mini for years now n have collected parts to build my dream mini, a 72 clubman, I have most parts but as most of u know its all on the back burner..
I do always have a mini on the road just so I can do all the shows n muck about with my club this was my hack for a few years
some of you may recognise it from the showdown (was in diff colours of primer tho) I came 2nd in under 1100 the last 2 years, I used to tag along with shane from here (turbo jet black)

anyway... one day I realised my 'dream mini' will not be done anytime soon n was getting boost urges.. a 300bhp Scooby n a crazy punto gt later THIS came up for sale

1293, sc box, megajolt, t2, dry deck'd, undercrown jets, mini fully rebuilt.. all for a 1/4 of the price he'd spent! n under half for what he'd spent on the engine alone! I had to have it!!
NOW I know ive brought and not built.. but you guys will be seein my 'dream clubby' being built but I thought id share some pics of this ones build.... then you guys can recognise it at shows n come over n say HEY :)

very nice ! if thats a maniflow back box ditch it as it will only flow enough for 125hp and then restrict the engine at that

hmmm not sure about the maniflow restriction claim steve. Im using one and have managed 150bhp no problem.

I thought there were a few chaps using maniflow systems with no issue with restriction.

I doubt there's any issue with a 2" system up to 200 bananas or so, but Maniflow do some smaller 1.75" ones & this could be a restriction at much lower power levels.

Made use of the sun today... tidied up my mums garage n pulled out my old cooper that i havent touched in years! Got few days off so am gonna try get that back on the road as a 'back up mini' for this year lol wil try get pics up tomo,
Then before the sun went in i thought id take the turbo out for a blast! Went to the garage n managed to pour v max all over the back end!- idiot! And then on a very very short bit of road between 2 roundabouts i booted it.. 1st 2nd 3rd brake.. BRAKE!!! 'Feckin hell' i said to the mrs it dint wanna stop then! 'It did just go straight to 80!' She said
Now thats when i think of the reality of how scaryily fast these things are! My mini is non servo so that adds to the scaryness on its own! I have in the garage a cooper s brake conversion as in the future id like to go down to 10's so what id like to ask you all is whos on 10's with no servo? Is it literally like now 'push the pedal thru the floor whilst i curl a mr whippy out' or worst!?!?!

Cant comment on the 7.5 brakes but iv driven with no servo and 7.9 4 pots and they were awesome hard peddle but responsive

Jamie's was a 2'' Maniflow. Single box. Once it hit that wall...it would not go any more no matter John tried..

Worth thinking about exhausts in terms of power.

dan trust me soon as any decent power comes on they usually start to restrict around 120hp
jamie steven bell on here had the same issue on john sleathes rollers soon as he hit 125hp it hit a brick wall ...................... dan and dave use a 2" playmini single back box these realy work and sound great!

dan fit one and compare the graphs on the rollers you will shocked buddy
