Hi everyone! I've not been on here for a while!

I've been itching to get back in a mini again so I've bought a 79 clubman!

I'm still building the turbo but its going very slowly, so I've got this to get me used to driving mini's again and just have some fun! :)

Theres a few bits and bobs I want to do to it. :)

thanks mate :) I'm so pleased to be back in a mini!

I need to sort out the body work, usual mini bubbling lol. My mate will help me with that though.
I need to get the speedo working and sort out the crappy wing mirrors!!
I'm going to fit a 1380 lump that i have sitting in the barn eventually! :)

Well I've got the mini in the barn and started the winter mods :)

Also decided to replace the tank with a 7.5 gallon one i have spare

Think I may need a bigger battery with the new engine going in!

That's it for now. I've got to finish preping the engine bay for paint this weekend.

Well I haven't updated this for while so here it goes...

More rust to be delt with....

Got here running for the first time...

Waiting to go in to the sprayers..

At the sprayers...

Going to fit these wheels I've had sat in my barn for about 3 years...

Took my girlfriends mum to her wedding a few days after I got it all back together and on the road!! lol

I've now decided to sell the other project and fit all the bits I've been collecting over the last 8 years to this! Including the turbo lump!! :)
But this winter I'm going to just fit my KAD 4 pots, mini hubs and my Force wheels. Then enjoy the coming summer months with the naturally aspirated 1380 with it's 115bhp. :)

Thanks Rob. I'm pleased with how it's turned out.

I can't wait to get rid of the metro hubs and get the suspension all set up properly on 10's :)

One thing though can I use mini flanges with metro vented discs? I have turned them down to 7.9"

Done a bit more over the Christmas holidays...

I gave the wheels a wax with this stuff...

I also fitted superfins to the rear, and braided hoses.

I'm going to replace the steering column with a better one I have on the shelf. The indicator/wiper stalks on the current one are wobbly due to the mount being broken. Just a bit annoying lol.
I might also make a dash as well before the spring.

Steering column sort out..

Much better, but didn't like the shininess of it and wanted something a bit more 'standard' looking,
So.....

I've fitted it but forgot to get a picture lol

I've also fitted a DSN towing eye but also forgot to get a pic lol.
Nothing that exciting really.
Going to be making a custom dashboard soon :)
