Bought with good intentions, but young family and impending new job mean I don't have time to finish my mini let alone make a start on this.

It's just the tub, doors, boot and bonnet. When I bought it was rolling, but I stripped it and sold all the parts.

It's never been registered so would either be used as a donor for a damaged car or would need to go through an IVA. I planned to insert the running gear etc from a MGTF and go down the IVA route.

Before I owned it, it had sat outside for a considerable period. It's dirty but the shell has fared well. There appears to be no moisture related damage to the fibreglass, but it does need small repairs/finishing in a few places. I have lots of photos from the previous owner which I can email.

As for the price, it owes me £200 but I guess it's a buyers market so I'll listen to sensible offers.

It will need to be collected on a trailer or in a van. I can help with loading and have a trolley to move it about on.

Obviously nobody on here will want it, so roll on the hilarity

Bit of a shame really Andy, I was looking forward to this build and seeing it in action, still I think its a bargain for someone at that money

That,s a shame Andy. I found myself, many years ago with the shell of a Berkeley in the same position.

I was going to put a tuned A series and rear wheel drive in it but, like you, family and time put an end to that particular dream.

If it is any consolation (probably not) when you reach my position it is possible to indulge, as I have, in silly projects like my A35,s

I can barely find time to do odd jobs on the mini at present and I will be working longer and later in a few weeks. Seems no point having it just sit there gathering dust (and filling up with crap). Then the wife said the other night that she is ready to start trying for more off spring. I think she can wait another year or two!

The auction isn't done yet. I sold all the bits of it and about broke even, so it's not the end of the world.

Ahh fair enough, I get a feeling somewhere around £50 it might go for, it's just a shame at £10 you're practically giving it away by the time eBay have had a chunk.
