your really going to build a road car engine out of a grasser engine that has been ragged round a field at 8000 RPM for a year?

Why not reuse the block ?
1060 is a +.080 bore and I think the grasstrackers are restricted to +.020 or +.040 so it should be good.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

Crank Tail

To be fair i've seen alot worse and these parts are pretty damn good and Ill refresh all the bolts in it aswell

I would get that crank looked at, as a minimum the journals want a polish.

id recommend a crack test as there is no point building a motor with a bad crank and like said if its been thrashed on the grass it has had a hard life!

Yo! :)
I don't think you actually need a turbo oil pump.
IIRC I read an 'ordinairy' oil pump is commonly used which would save you quite some cash.

Please have others confirm this as it is quite an important part of the engine!

Dazed and Confused....

Most people just keep a std oil pump. I personally bought the better one just because I would rather fit one.

Been a while since I have updated on here but I've started to weld the car now. But now I've hit a bit of an issue...

Do I weld door step in first or do the Floor and Inner sill first?
