BIR1 has gone through a small renaissance.
UGGGGLY Mk4 lights

Nice Mk2/3 lights

Bonnet drilled, lighter bonnet catches, not thieve proof anymore though... ERA vent fitted..

Lighter pedals, bigger steering wheel to deal with the torque and more gauges :)

Never mind the end cap on the intercooler. This is just trial fitted..

Nope, still using the kawa rad, and a heater matrix fitted where you had the IC. I think this will cool better than an oil-cooler used for water.

The engine is painted in its only correct colour. BMC-green. Anyone who doesn't like it, is either tooo young, or blind..

Mk4 lights= big and heavy.. did I mention that they're ugly as well? :)

Intercooler p ipes are ordered from Merlin motorsport as we speak.. It's a doddle when fitting the cooler like this.

dont get me wrong i love the car, but i think the engine colour should be covering a tidy 850 at a show, not a beast of a turbo. MAae im too young though lol

I agree Vegard stick with classic olive green, better than Max Power red *wink*

Exactly... I would even like to fit a steel green rocker cover... It's more subtle. I don't need to show off as much as many.....Jim?? :)

I did it as the intercooler now sits right behind the bonnet. Still not sure that there will be sufficient flow...

It started and now runs!!!!!!!! It did start on the first attempt. I don't have a clutch yet, but trying to fix that now.. I'll get some pictures up!

Kind of happy right now, but I'm just waiting for the first unevitable cock up.

So here's the present IC install. I will be mounting the IC to the frnt panel with some brackets of some kind.

Still haven't decided on where to put the air filter.
