Sorry no turbo, but thought some of you may like to see my gt.

When we got the car it hadn't been out since 84. It got used for 18mths or so then the fuel pipe had corroded and it was leaking fuel from there and the carb float bowl for some reason. we replaced a bit of pipe but didn't sort the carb side, it was getting to the end of the year so it got put in dads garage until yesterday ( 5 years ago .lol)

So motivation is to get the carb back on and back on the road again.

Oh carl, if you have any (old stock , cough ) of these I think they would look great .lol

Thanks all.

The car is very clean and is mostly origanal , the guy we got it off had it from 3months old, he ran it until 84 when the exhaust fell off on a road trip back from the coast.
It stayed in a carpeted heated garage since then. The guy decided he wanted to go through the car , so replaced things like brake pipes / rear shoes etc allthough he kept the old ones and there was nothing wrong with them. He then removed the front wings due to a small amount of rust , it would of cleand up but ho well. The only paint its had is the wings/ a panels the reat is origanal.
Plans are yes keep it as standard as poss , i no the wheels arnt standard but ive been looking at som 10's or 12's for it. Im upset that he drilled the wings for arches but il have to live with that. The car has been zebarted from new wich is good but its all under the bonnet aswell so i may possibly try strip that off and clean that up as it the only bit tgat lets the car down

I've seen this in the metal. It really is as good as it looks in the pics.

Too many grey cars at your house! Just need to paint your pond line that colour now!
