Well as everybody else seems to be sharing their man caves I thought I'd join in.
I got the keys to my new house on friday & am now the proud owner of a massive garage. The previous owner was into stock cars & built the garage especially with this in mind. I could probably get 4 Minis in here & still have room to work, I'm well chuffed. It goes a long way further back than it looks in the picture, as I took it as it was getting dark. It needs a rewire & painting etc but it's watertight & dry.
Now all I have to do is all the work inside the house before the Mrs will let me out to play in it ! Bugger ... Lol

That looks well good mate!!
Wish I could move up north sometimes! as we are looking for a house with a good size man cave, there is not alot about in surrey at the right price. I think i will end up buliding one.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

Personally I would buy a house with enough land to build one that is right for you.

Turbophilfromturbodashminisdotcom does look to have got a good one though *smiley*

I'd agree with the northern one; just make sure you have space for the cave at least and preferably close to Dave Essex so he can build it for you in jig time!

Looks good that, if slightly odd from the front.

I had the sme problem finding a garage and in the end bought a house with space to build. My garage is just what I always wanted.

We're in the process of buying at the mo.. Everytime the missus shows me a house the first thing I look for is a garage or place to build a garage....

We all think the same lol.....

I cheated when we ran out of room on the drive - built a bigger drive at the expense of the front lawn.
When I ran out of room in the garage, I rented an industrial unit...

Would love to have enough space at home to replicate my new workshop, but it's never going to happen.

Well after 9 hours working on the house I was allowed an hour in the garage. I had a good root around & found loads of interesting bits left by the previous owner.
Theres a massive vice on the workbench at the back, loads & loads of differnt oils, extension leads forever more, tins of grease, loads of aerosols, fibreglass, some brand new huge ratchet straps, ropes, a Weber rebuild manual, just tons & tons of goodies. I'm looking forward to gettting some proper time sorting through it all.

Phil. *smiley*

Well I had a few days off this week, so in between jobs I managed to get a little time in the garage. I took a load of stuff to the tip & had a little sort out. There's still plenty more to do but I managed to get the Mini inside, the first time it's been indoors since 1999 !!

There should be a lot more once I get some more of the rubbish cleared. That's until I get the other Mini in there though ! Lol
There's another 4-5 feet of space behind me where I took the picture though ....

there is never enough space in a mancave..........

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018
