could possably be a boring build (i dont think so ),i had a little comments from the guys on the mini forum so i thought id put it up here, its my first turbo but ive had plenty of minis (currently have 4)

here is my 1963 mk1, this ones been a long project hitting about 5 years now and god knows im about 6k poorer, lots of new panels respray back to orgional colour of egg shell blue with black roof - origionall i intended to keep the rebuild very simple and ithink it still is but ive added a lot more than i intended - the spec is as follows
> new inner and outer a panels and wings, origional front panel new door skins and hinges
> painted in the origional egg shell blue with deep black roof
> new rear subby with all new components inc radius arms
> colour coded back plates with mini fins
> dsn classics trunions with red bushes all round
> sand blasted and powdercoated front subby with -
> all adjustable heavy duty tie bars and bottom arms
> blasted and coated top arms with new pins
> ally sump gaurd
> bored to 1293 t3 turbo with renault 5 gt turbo ally intercooler, should produce 120bhp at 10psi, forged iasa pistons, stage 2 head, 276 cam, reground balanced crank and straight cut gears with central oil pickup - i wanted to keep it a driver but still be able to have a good play from time to time
> ally rad with electric cooling fan fitted
> dsn bolt os everywhere under the bonnet
> brand new loop
> spi tank
> hilos all round
> gaz shocks
> 10x6 deep dish rev
> 4 pot ally callipers and colour coded stainless brake lines all over
> Morris minor dash (sounds wierd but it reallt works) cut to be a perfect fit
> magnolia clock
> incar bleed valve
> remote servo
> 16 point roll cage
thats all i can think of but im sure theres more

given you a before and after and also my other rat look project

all comments welcome

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

It looks good, spec sounds sensible for a fast road car.

did think about it but those wheels you see are long gone and banded steels ahve taken there place 10x7s, so its kind of a mix of old and new

Looks real good mate, I'm glad you got rid of the revos, they're too 70's for a mk1 :p

you need to host them on photobucket or somewhere similar and link them I think (that's how I do it anyway)
