Well thought i'd post a little up date, not done one in ages!

I've been doing this since last Oct last year with some help with a mate Adam, and thought I would post a wee piccy up of my new engine bay.

you've spent all that money on EFI and left that tatty silicon hose next to the rocker cover. tut tut Mathew.

PMSL Tom, that would me a told interior strip down and removal just to get it out.. not sure I can be bothered as it sounds so nice!

Your Right mate that crappy Silicon hose is there, but won't be for long, it was just a "quick" fix and plumb up to see if the thing worked. It's really bad stuff so glad you no about it! It didn't cost me to much as it's my and Adams kit :)

Can you remind me what SPI stands for :o as I always thought it was Special parts injection.

Yes had power runs and after a few, I'm manages to get the power to about the same as before which is what I was hoping for. With the benefits now of hopefully being more in tune when the weather changes. I still love the SU and this make me appreciate it a whole lot more!!

Thank god you've spilled the beans! Ive nearly mentioned it a few times but then I wasn't sure if it was common knowledge yet. I was well impressed with your setup when I saw it at Brandshatch, how many hours on the rollers did it take to get a decent map?

400 bhp, not sure about that one mate :( that may well be out of reach for me.

Sorry Matty, thanks mate glad you liked it, TBH I've been doing the mapping on the road from about jan till now and it's still now 100% And a good few hours on the rollers, Like i said it make you realise how bloody good the SU carb is as it does every thing (with the help of Ray at T&M) so well.
