looking good!

replacing full panels is a good idea where possible (as you are doing) word of advise though... put some door seals on it now and trial fit the doors if you haent already.

Very tidy, did you need to modify your calipers to fit the rose petals?

That's real nice that mate, what panels did you end up replacing and also what seats ate they, restalls?
It's some greay inspiration for my rusty cooper.

Thanks for posting the pics and thanks for the nice comments.
Most panels on the car were replaced as it was completely rotten and if i hadn't paid good money for it it would have been scrapped.
Panels were Boot floor complete with back seat, rear inner arches, rear valance, healboard, 1 full quarter, 1 quarter repair, floors front to back both sides with inner and outer sills and crossmember, door steps, wings, scuttle, inner fronts, inner front arches, front panel, both a panels inners and outers, 1 new heritage door, heritage bootlid, heritage bonnet. It did have a good roof and a,b,c posts though lol.
Brakes are standard cooper s 7.5 set up and the wheels went over with the spacers provided from minispares though you have to be careful where you put the balancing weights as it is tight.
Engine spec is bore old 1300gt block, bored +0.60 cc (1330), Omega pistons, A+ conrods balanced end to end, lightened flywheel, swiftune sw5 cam, vernier duplex timing set, Stage 3 head, Aldon dizzy, Twin 1 1/2 hs4's, close ratio box 3.1 final drive cross pin diff hardy spicer shafts. Approx 85-90bhp
Suspension is gaz adjustables, minispares hilo's, minispares adjustable bottom arms, tie bars and rear camber brackets.
Seats are cooper s contour similar to microcell seats used in early minis and escorts.
I also have a 1964 mk1 super which i am thinking of building into a track day car if funds allow.
Cheers Steve
