it appears this is like most other forums then, nobody willing to respect other cars but the ones the site is aimed at then,

I think it's OK. The wheels are maybe a touch on the big side, but generally it looks like you've done a good job of it.

Not my cup of tea, but then no corsa is. I get sick of seeing the bloody things around by me, but at least you've put some sort of effort into it rather than just bolting shit to it and covering it with shopping lists, so well done on that front!

The clue is in the name, Turbo Minis. Maybe after you have been a member some time you may get more interest. But to come on here and straight away post pictures of your Corsa after 3 posts, I think in actual fact we've been pretty relaxed.

i read a good corsa build thread a while back, looked standard, still had the merit badges on, 15x6 astra sport steelies, lowered 25mm with a redtop, clean as anything ive seen. there are nice corsa's about. not everyone dislikes other cars, here's my old yaris
it was probably the photoshop pic that makes it seem a little 'chavy'

If you sorted out the paint abit more and wheels i think it would look awsome, personally i like corsa b's i wouldnt mind a redtop one with astra gte wheels. A guy i know has a 400hp white corsa b its a merit iirc with black speedline wheels lovely example

Does look a tidy corsa by the photos, I've seen a few with the 1.7 isuzi turbo diesel engine in.. Standard engine and intercooler from an astra, the things are very quick for the price you pay it you play with the furling and wastegate, it has been said they can make 160bhp+ on standard components so more power then a standard redtop and bags more torque

We had a Corsa B as a sort of spare car anyone in the family could use when we needed a car to leave in a dodgy area or in a pub car park for a week etc. Never serviced or washed, always abused and to be fair it never went wrong. However, it is quite genuinely the worst car I have ever driven. It had the 1.4 'Hi-torq' engine, I prefer to think of it as the 'low-power'. I found myself thrashing it just to keep moving and I managed to get 14mpg from a tank once. The handling was pure comedy, it would bounce and slide it's way round corners, I once lost the back end going round a roundabout at the same speed as a LWB Sprinter which seemed to be having no problem at all. I really can't understand why such a terrible car is so popular with a certain social subset, but there we go, each to their own. Once they are all crashed or scrapped I won't care because I will remember how terrible they were, so on that basis I am quite pleased that it is Corsa Bs getting this sort of treatment as if it was S1-4 Lotus Elans for example, I would be truly upset.

I don't mean any of this as a personal attack against you or your car, if you enjoy it then great. I like Audi 80s and that probably can't be said about more than around 10 people so I understand where you're coming from.
