now for the engine side of things....this is where it gets serious *happy*
basicly id like to push around the 170bananas mark out of the blow through set up and i think this is pretty acheivable looking at johnnys set up. ill be getting the kit from slark racing and ive been down there and spoke to neil about it and have the go ahead.
he never made a dummy kit so will be starting from scratch again on the pipe work, brackets and what not but he is going to build the kit on my car when its ready which should hopefully be around may time.
gearbox wise im running a straight cut box, straight cut drops, straight cut final drive and a sailsbury LSD *happy*

thanks for the good comments *happy*

mini Pete the crank has been reground, ni-temp, wedged and x drilled.
costs just under 300 quid if you exchange your old crank.

Do the omegas come with circlips or is it necessary to machine ptfe buttons when using h-rods?

This project is perfect other than one minor detail...

Supercharger.

Bin it and do it properly with a turbo. 170hp will be a piece of piss on a turbocharged lump. Most have struggled to get near with a supercharger.
