This was a min i built about 10 years ago, with a 1380, 135bhp, straight cuts etc.... - it looked like this in the beginning:

Here's my solution for nearside upper engine steady bracket, found a nice thick piece of steel that runs right across for my little alternator, and studded at the back to take the rose jointed steady bar...

whats the spec of the 1380? 73.5mm omega's, the usual with the crank, tuftrided, wedged, cross drilled, still on std bearing size, nicely worked head by a company called Withy Engineering in the mids, DCOE 45 on 7" maniflow, maniflow lcb, cam is a VP8C, which is just fantastic. On this build i've converted it to belt drive & from distributor to megajolt for the ignition, looking forward to playing with that. For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism. |

Some really nice touches on this! like that alt/steady braket, the dogbox is interesting any more info? price etc? I checked their website but theres nt much on there. Thanks Joe, the bracket was modded from a bracket I found at work from a he-man dual control kit.! The box wasn't a brand newbie, I bought it second hand (although it's new to me..!) I couldn't find much about it either at the time, I emailed the guys at Glebe with piccies in the end to confirm it was one of their kits - i'm looking forward to see how it drives, it's fitted with a 3.9 semi helical & cross pin diff. I'm liking this, i like the tube for the internal gear linkage, and the breather in where the mech fuel pump was. |

What rad is that? Fiat cinq, the smaller height one. Tried to fit it without cutting any of lower front panel, just trimmed bonnet slam piece & made up brackets. Hopefully should just clear front piece of flywheel housing. For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism. |

We've just swapped the cinq rad on John's clubman. He had the really cheep one which just had big tubes in the core. It didn't cool all that well as the coolant got through it too quickly. Worth checking yours. You can see the big tubes through the hose stubs. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
