Are they Matt black? I think I would prefer them in gloss personally.

Yes Tom, Matt black. I did try gloss, but wasn't sure. I've been trying to decide all day which to go for.

Here's the gloss...

Gloss, you will find when out in the sunsheeee-ine the gloss works better with the polished rim.

To me the matt just looks extra dull against the shiny rim.

I would advise not.

If you can find a tyre place with a fitter not a complete baboon, you can have the tyres fitted in the normal way without any damage. The wheel well is there the same as before the wheel was modified.

Doing it the other way is quite tricky, especially as you are also trying to get a seal between the rim and wheel at the same time.

Been there and done it with my 2 piece on my 205. 3 of them leaked and ended having tyres off again to reseal.

Not sure still. Here's Matt 'on' the car..

Carl suggested that tubes would be best, so I will be constructing the wheels with tyres (and tubes) in place.

12" x 5" revolutions.

EDIT: they are actually made by Revolite.

they look FIT! And colour wise i would go with gloss, it wont stand out as much as the matt against the outer.

I like the contrast between the Matt black and shiny outers. :/
