Glad you made it back home safe Eden and that you're happy with Mum's Clubby Estate. Just bloody lucky the hose didn't go on the trip home. Good little project for you to get your teeth into

Your saloon looks hard as nails. Good contrast to the Estate !

Good luck with yer future Clubby Luvvin ! Pleasure doing business with you nd Mums glad the Estate's gone to a good home *smiley*

Richard.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.

seat was retrimed by my granddad in Leicestershire, not cheap tho as its a difficult seat to cover. unless you want your own 1 off's your better off getting brand new. mines a fiberglass one so he had to soew the elastic into it to hold it to the base.

going to keep the estate as is for now, just gunna give it some much needed tlc

yeah very happy rich, thanks again and thank you mum too, cheers

Yep.

That's right, Ford Imperial Blue 2k Mica Pearlescent. It's blue with a kinda purple haze.

When I went into the Ford Garage in 1995 when they had an outlet in Kingsmead in Bath, the very young sales guy nearly creamed himself when I started asking him about the blue Escort Cossie they had in the showroom. You could see the keerrrr chiingggg lights ring in his eyes !!

Then I told him all I was interested in was the colour and the part number for the wing side repeaters for a Mini Estate I was building.

His face was a bloody picture - I've never seen someone so disappointed !

the estate has started to hate me. the light switch is playing up, the get out handle no longer works so i have to wind down the window and its now smoking quite bad on start up. so will have to take the head off to change those stem seals just as rich informed me haha.

pics of the saloon with be up soon, just waiting on my block back from the borers

Eden.

Glad to see you're making use of the good weather and cracking on with the saloon.

Did you fix the estate's head ? Was it warped as well as requiring stem seals ?

Looks mean as!

I'd try to get the main Live cable away from the intercooler a bit. It wouldn't be good if it rubs the insulation away.
