Picked up another car on the weekend for my daily drive. 66k with alot of history but the paint is shocking!

cool - I ran a CB60 turbo as a daily a good few years back - with a Lancia Y10 turbo grafted to it (previous owner had run it with a seized turbo for over a year and wondered why it was sluggish!)

Great cars, but spares were expensive and hard to get 15 years ago! Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Downpipe has arrived. Hopefully another 10bhp. Had to finish it off myself with the die grinder in work :mad:

Spamming seems to be rife on forums alate 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

nice car! - my daily 10 years ago was its predecessor a 1984 Charade Turbo, 6v turbo bought from a guy whom did big miles in it and said it felt sluggish - the turbo was seized - he'd ben running it like that for years! no chance of a replacement turbo for that one so on went a Lancia Y10 turbo with fabbed downpipe etc - went really well after that!

And a picture of how it looks now. Got a piggyback ECU on it now and going to change the clutch then have it tuned at a rolling road hopefully will be around 150bhp
