Hey Everyone. I have been trawling this site for ages now and have finally found time to post some pictures of my car. I know a few members on here and have been in contact with a few via email. So the original plan was to build a classic looking road car with a works feel to it. I was an addict of the MK1 PC website for AGES until i found turbominis. Then i saw a few cars on here and there was no doubt that forced induction was the way to go. A few pictures here of the build so far, everything is built by me apart from the bodywork. The aim is to get a classic looking mini with some nice modern touches, and a pretty quick engine. Should be starting the engine rebuild nearer to xmas :)

Ha, I read Johns comment when looking at the rollcage and thought it said shiny devices.

Looking good, plenty of bling on there!

Looks great.

In the early pictures, have you got the shell supported on a motorcycle lift?

Stoke-on-Trent. Duck.

Well done getting the painted roll cage into the painted shell - I kept putting that job off for weeks until I was feeling VERY brave! Loos good though, top marks.

Dave.

Thanks for all the positive comments guys. Yes it was on a small motorcycle lift.

And yes it was a VERY delicate job to get the rollcage in with fresh paint and a NEW headlining!!! It has come along way since the last pictures so i will post more if people are interested. Shouldn't be far off when i start putting the motor back together, run some brake and fuel lines and get some seats in it :)
