been holding off posting this for a while but its starting to take the piss now, im not the only one he ripping off and he is still at it


i payed for 2 weller wheels and delivery it took him a whole month to figure out they had been sent by dhl but got wet and was returned to him, hes reposted them but still no wheels my end

i dont wish to badmouth this guy but feel i should share my brief experience.

i posted here in the wanted section and on tmf for a cr 1275 gt gearbox. a man called 'john', located in the midlands sent me a personal email saying that he had one and wanted 150 pounds. i am fairly confident that this is the same person that you are refering to. if not then i apologise.

i made him an offer not far from 150, his reply was 'id rather scrap it'. needless to say with such attitude shown towards a potential buyer i wasnt too impressed. i asked him what he thought it was worth as it was a used unit and in my eyes for a rebuild. he got very irate. this email conversation was going on at gone 11 at night, he then mailed back saying it was sold at midnight ish. seems that the guy was happy to just mess me around

as i said i am cetain that its the same guy, but as the response came through via tmf it came in the form of personal email and not his tmf username.

i wish i had spotted his kal14 profile on here first though, a 44 year old female called John would have given me a bit of warning...

He also agreed to buy some parts from myself and let me down.

i think its a case of 'TM as a whole' could see through him but still gave him the benefit of the doubt, he didnt exactly get the warmest of welcomes

imo ill be lucky to get the wheels or cash back

I know you should give people the benefit of the doubt, but unless you've heard good word or reputation about someone then don't buy. If you wish to buy, then see them face to face with cash. No goods...no cash.
Its wrong to say it, but its sometimes the buyers own fault they get ripped off.

Hopefully dishonest sellers will have something grim happen to them. You get the small few that ruin it for everyone else.

Dishonest sellers always get what comes to them in the end. They step in dogshit on their way to a job interview, some other low-life burgularises them, or they get a speeding ticket when they are going the same speed as every other car on the road, whatever...

They ask the question "why me"? They might forget the answer, but at least we'll know the answer.

to be fair after a bit of poking by me and tmf mods, my wheels turned up, i just hope all the others have the same outcome
