leeds/wakefield.

Why are folk assuming that these are needed,

it seems a bit sheep like to me. a standard mini frame shold not have a bump steer problem,

Why do these alter bump steer ???

The standard track rod end and a rose joint are both essentially spherical joints.

Is there a significant difference in height between the spherical centre of this and the steering arm compared to a standard track rod end and the steering arm ???

I can't think what other difference they would make, additional motion shouldn't be required or the standard ones would be locking up and breaking ???

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Rod,

as the taper is done away with you can add spacers to change the geometry to tune out bumpsteer.

+ these have a greater range of motion that the standard Item,

I use them on the irish race cars to counter a problam we have been having with Standard items failing, to date these have been fine,

Paul.
