I've seen lots of people who have 'swaged' holes in their car.

I brought a 20mm hole flaring tool off ebay. Cost £18. The bloke who sold it did a load of different sized ones. I've so far used it on the turbo bonnet and the vauxhall minis A panels. Looks sweet. |

I've got one off ebay, it's ok but I've ended up replacing the bolt with a 12.9 cap head as I stripped the threads off the bolt that came with it, I also use an inch long nut to try and stop me stripping the threads and also allows me to clamp it in the vice, also as it's ally it's starting to wear. that ebay lad will supply you with any combo you want, i got 4 off him for £70 deliverd, really nice bloke "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

dam, im glad i made one of these up when i had the chance. mine does 35-40mm , twas easy to make from steel bar stock, but geting the profile right on the radius took a bit of trial n error.

Finally got round to buying a set of these from the ebay chap. All look really good quality and they came in a nice box.
