Make sure you get a 2 piece front, i.e. one with a bonnet. For every day use a bonnet is essential. The extra room created by the removable front end is only of use for big jobs, IMO. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

wheres the best place to buy 1 lads I would have thought that, unless you're coming over to collect, your choice will be down to who offers the best price for shipping. I got mine from this lot http://stores.ebay.co.uk/m-sport-lincs but I had a large PayPal voucher to use up. Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Why buy one! You have the perfect one already on the car. Just drill out the spot welds and use a hard thin blade to cut through the ones around the corners of the scuttle.

Why buy one! In my case, because I decided to convert to "clubman" to be able to fit everything else I want in there (front rad, intercooler etc.). Steel is a nice idea though, and would cost little more than FG even if you built it from new panels - but only for round nose, new steel clubman panels are expensive..... I had a steel one piece front that I put on my mini. Didn't weigh that much really but I did wish that I'd have made it a two piece as simple things like checking the oil became a pain in the arse! I didn't make mine hinged either, it was just detacable. :) |

This is the one I've seen on here recently although I've seen similar before, hence my comment earlier...
