Ive had this car for about a year now and is my daily driver

Its a '62 Austin. It will be have small bore turbo in it but look very standard. Obviously it will be in tip top condition when finished and will incorporate lots of my lightweight components that I manufacture. Its staying Speedwell blue with a standard red interior.
I'll be doing this one up whilst still in use so it will be a long term project on evenings, weekends and when the Sprint allows me time.

Made some new bits for it yesterday, ofcourse from aluminium. Hope you like it.

Will do Al. I have a 1000cc A+ engine and just come across an 1100 engine so I will go for longer stroke with a T2. Not sure what head yet, I have a 295, 940 and 202 to choose from. Not looking for massive power, Ill be happy with 100 bananas.

Seconded, Would be nice for the panels to be left as shiny alu so people can see what's available

Ditto

I cheat and clamp whatever it is against some angle iron, then cut along that!

An update, excuse the pictures the light isnt good, theyre not red, just shiny alu. Ill take better pics in the morning and edit them.

First off I made an exact replica of the bracketry for an S centre binnacle and auxilliary gauge to go under the dash to the right of the steering wheel,

then changed my mind and made this for Smiths rev counter, oil pressure and engine temperature which will go in front of the steering wheel.

Then I started making an alu heater which I havent got very far with yet.
