i think its easter sunday this years, so whos going? im not sure if i can be bothered yet lol.
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

They've had a 0-60 timer on the right hand lane for quite some time. I managed 6.4 secs last year which wasn't bad I didn't think for full road weight and lots of wheel spin!

was going to go to crail that weekend(assumign its next weekend?.. whats the format of teh event? is there any camping? duno if i can be bothered doing it + travelling without sleep.

I think you can camp yes, its quite a good event, you run three qualifiers, then they pair you against a beetle that is within 1/2 sec of your best qualifying time, then its head to head and you have to beat the beetle. And after that RWYB.

Yeah you can camp - nice friendly atmosphere at York as well (aside from the rivalry between the mini and beetle owners lol) - probably the most friendly of the drag strips I've been to in this country although Shakespeare comes a close second. On 15th Jul, 2009 fastcarl said:

If all is well with the engine this week end, I will be there, not sure whether im trailering it there or driving it, but I think I will be camping over as its a 3 hour journey for me either way I get there. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
