its a 1310, forged pistons, morespeed booster head, new water cooled turbo, duplex chain, straight cut drop gears, lots of other little bits,

the car is a mint 1978 russet brown clubman, was an auto, the car is in superb condition
interior is standard cloth 30k from new

got to pick a few bit up from him still got to fit an intercooler, boost valve, maybe a dump valve.

build a straight cut box as ive got just the gears

ive taken it for a run and its awesome cant believe how quick it is at the moment running at 4psi

got a new avonbar acutator

Turbophil had a butt plug made that seemed to be suitable. He may have finished with it now and have it kicking around spare

i thought about going to look at this car. but then i wouldnt have the pleasure of building my own car. but a russet brown clubby would be very nice :)

There used to be a brown clubby turbo near me, he had it re-painted the same brown but with gold flakes in the paint, you could only tell when you looked closely or when the sun was on it, looked mint!!

are you having the turbo up-pipe cut and welded too? jon flanigan aka giallofly does this mod, its not necessary but it makes it a fair bit easier compared to standard

this is the only pic i have, its just cut and welded facing slighly further forward just makes it a little easier, but i suppose if you put a pipe on and leave it on there and disconnect other side of the hose it wouldnt be a problem.

ive been buying a few bits as i go so have most to get it finished.

over the next 2 weeks ill get it out of storage and into the garage for a strip down

Looks like you have jacked up on the tie bar mount. I wouldn't do that.

Looks a good car. Got any pics of the intercooler?
