GT17, hybrid turbo built specially for mini application, good for 180-200hp, 18-20psi boost. Uses Ren 5 T/Hsg on std manifold, special bespoke core assembly, using saab 9-5 turbine wheel with big pad 360 thrust. Hybrid Saab/Renault compressor end. Ideal for easy fitting on stock mini turbo engine, much much more responsive than original T3 turbo.Professionally built,never fitted, change of project

listing for marc at CR turbos, he built it and looks really good, it has an espace inlet turbine housing, which brings the intercooler outlet really nice and high up.

Price, Open to offers, but this is a new turbo, completely rebuilt from the ground by a proffesional, please keep that in mind.

probably unanswerable as no maps will be available for it, and im not smart enough to figure it out, but would this be any use on a 998?

i'm not sure, but spool up shot be similar to a gt17, thats what the guy was telling me. I should think if they use t2 / gt17's on a 998 then this should be fine.

did you fit it on the manifold yourself?

No the Guy at CR turbos did, mark, he re drilled the manifold, his work is top class, really its a spot on turbo, i'll put it on ebay later on today. just thought i'd offer it here first.

This would fit on a mirage manifold though, just wondering if this would be a good buy for my new turbo project

well its going on ebay now, been waiting around for a while, so going to take my chances on the bay,

only thing i can see is you would need to change the position of the actuator and then bolt to mirage manifold if you not wanting to mod the blukhead

but not being funny, why not just put a bulkhead box in? If you can fit a turbo you can cut a piece of metal out the bulkhead?

cos its a 2 year old heritage shell with no rust. I really don't want to cut in to a shell that expencive when i could buy a kit to do it with out.

bat, would it not still foul the block slightly on a mirage manifold?

im presuming this would be even worse on a 998 too, as it will be nearer the block's flange?

Hi,
It's hard to say with the non standard comp housing. I know you can grind a bit out of a 1275 block to fit the T25, no idea with a 998. :(
