Currently part way through my installation so I thought I would post some photos.

Loads more to do (charge cooling pump/rad/pipes/fuel system etc etc)
Will add some more as I go along

Looking good, nice workmanship.

Let's have a guess the car competition.

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

Correct.
It's a Davrian mk8 from 1981.
Actually Darrian was formed after Davrian went bankrupt.

So now that I've guessed it can we see some more pictures of your car, please?

Here's what they look like for those who have never heard of them before:

From the side they sort of remind me of the old Mustangs.

Awesome car.

My dad restored a mk5 in the mid 90's. Sold 10 years ago pretty much to the week I think.

I must try to find out where it is now.

Edit: or was it a mk4? either way I think they are awesome.

Yes, this this is the best handling car I have had. The grip and traction with A048's is astonishing (easily over 1g)
The chassis can handle so much more torque which is why I am going turbocharged!
