I never got how the competition worked, surely the beetles would win hands down all the time? Anyone care to enlighten me?

i presume its something like:

There are a lot of mega quick beetles about
however these are mostly in america/in bits still at easter so most of the things are those wheezy 1641 jobbies

I may take the DON to this for its first outing next year.

yes camping is still allowed, but you are only allowed to consume alcohol purchased at the bar ,lol. not fooking likely,,

and i will of course be attending, the car will run like a bag af shite as usual and i will contribute not one hp to help the minis win , as has been the case for the last few years,

but then again i may just spanner the car over the week before,lol.

Carl, they've still not updated that, its still showing 2007.

However, if you delve DEEP into the York forum, it is confirmed as Sunday 23rd March.

I hope to be running there. Depends on how quick I can get my engine built though as to what spec I'll be running. It'll either be a wheezy 110bhp Metro Turbo lump or a brand spanking new 160bhp 1293 moster. With only 8 weeks to go though, and no new engine parts ordered yet, I think it'll be the former!

I am hoping to get the k engine done by then?! So long as work calms down it should be done. Sleeping is heavily overrated, so 12 hours of proper work then another 12 on the k job done!

Well my MED engine is now sat in my garage ready to be built. The car is coming off the road this weekend to pull the old engine out. Hopefully be all up and running with the car set up and engine run in by this, so hopefully should be able to contribute some reasonable times.
